After a five-lie day yesterday, we think PZ might have pulled his lie muscle, because he took it easy today and shied away from kinds of controversial topics that usually have him spewing falsehoods by the truckload. Part of the problem he’s not his usual self might be the fact that he’s still away from home, trying to get back from the spider conference.
We wish him safe travels and thank him for the respite today – as we mentioned, we’re at a conference of our own and haven’t had much time to devote to PZ or his lies lately.
But tomorrow is another day and if there’s one thing we’ve learned about PZ it’s his dedication. No matter how injured his lie muscle is, he’ll rub some dirt on it and get back in the game soon enough. And we’ll be there to call balls and strikes when he does.
Now – with more than enough back jokes and sports metaphors under our belt for one day – we’ll see you tomorrow.
Today: 1 science-related posts and 4 posts on other stuff.
Since 30 May 19: 23 science-related posts, 65 non-science posts.
26% of PZ’s posts on a “science blog” have been about science.
Note: Most of PZ’s posts on science since 30 May have been dedicated to a spider data gathering initiative. There have been precious few posts on anything else having to do with science. When the spider initiative is complete, we’ll take a look at the numbers and parse out how much other science content he provides.
